Kellogg’s

Kellogg’s, the cereal lover’s BFF, and IGN, the gamer’s go to for gaming and entertainment news teamed up for an epic launch party.
Project Details
IGN Fan Fest is a two-day celebration of all things fandom organized by IGN as an opportunity for some of the biggest personalities in the industry to hang out, play games, and party together. We teamed up with Kellogg’s and IGN to create a one-of-a-kind launch party experience for their fans — 40,000 square feet of experience that is.
The basement was a super sleek lounge, trussed up with event furnishings, up and down lighting, tension fabric photo backdrops, and 24 custom video consoles for fans to try out games before they are available to the public.
But the party was happening on the main floor. A huge stage and video wall anchored the space with live music and awesome IGN branding. Fans bounced back and forth between the dance floor and the 40+ video game stations available for demo. The entire space was branded from floor to ceiling, including a massive archway that welcomed fans to the party! The Globe Theater offered the perfect venue to create a co-branded space that truly amazed fans.
The top floor mezzanine maintained a classy, high end, exclusive feel equipped with a custom “video game” themed fireplace that acted as the perfect photo op.

Quick but Not Dirty
Did we mention IGN approached us with only four weeks until the event? No sweat.
We hit the ground running with an immediate site visit to walk the location, take measurements, discuss layout options, and get an overall feel for how the venue would work for our needs. Logistics are huge in our world — where will freight come in the door, is there access to elevators, what’s the availability for electricity? Check.
From there, it was back to the shop to draft preliminary 2D / 3D plans of the space for IGN and Kellogg’s to review and approve. Done and done.
Then it was all hands on deck for what we like to call very organized chaos. The shop got to ordering materials for custom elements, pulling rental furnishings, and prepping monitors for transport — all the physical assets. The labor foreman stayed on-site to work with venue staff to double and triple check all measurements and layouts were correct. And our client services team worked hand-in-hand with IGN staff on graphic production, timelines, and schedules. Four weeks + three floors = one heck of a launch party that we were so excited to be a part of.
